Molefe Molefe

Molefe Molefe previously worked for the World University Service as a Counsellor and Administrator of the organization’s Scholarship Programme and Community Development in Lesotho. He later joined the National Union of Mineworkers as Head of its Legal Unit overseeing provision of legal representation for the union members as well as conducting capacity building workshops for the union members and their leadership. He represented the union movement in various chambers within NEDLAC.

Whilst in the union, he participated in a number of seminars explaining the union perspective on a variety of issues in the mining, energy and construction sectors within the Labour Relations regime in the country. He was part of the Home Affairs Task Team that drafted the White Paper on Migration.

Upon leaving the union, Molefe established a Labour Relations Consultancy styled Molefe & Ramuedzisi Consultants. He is also a panelist at Tokiso Dispute Settlement (Pty) Ltd specializing in chairing disciplinary and appeal inquiries, conducting mediation and arbitration processes as well as training. He is also a member of the South African Association for Labour Law (SASLAW).

Molefe has a Masters in Business Administration from the International Negotiation Academy. He has a certificate in Management Advancement Programme (MAP) from Wits Business School, an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law from RAU, LLB from the University of Natal and BA Law from the National University of Lesotho.
